Camavinga came on as a substitute in the latest game in the 70th minute after coming on for Daniel Ceballos, then move to left-back in place of Fran Garcia during extra time after the 25-year-old was withdraw in stoppage time, with the French midfielder reportedly suffering another hamstring injury in the game and set to be out for around three weeks.
Camavinga’s latest injury will rule him out of at least five games – three in La Liga against Las Palmas, Real Valladolid and Espanyol, as well as the final two Champions League games against RB Leipzig and Brest – but he should be available for the Madrid derby against Atletico Madrid on February 8 or 9.
It has been a season riddle with injuries for the young Frenchman, who suffer a knee injury a day before the UEFA Super Cup and misse 12 matches for club and country.
Having made his comeback in October, Camavinga was sideline again in November with a muscle problem, which kept him out of five matches for Real Madrid.
